It’s taken me a hot minute to write this one but guyssss! I found a sweet little music venue in St. Louis. It’s called The Pageant and is in walking distance to the Washington University in St. Louis campus. My favorite thing about this venue is how intimate it feels. No matter where you sit or stand, you will always be within 70 feet of the stage. Every seat is a good seat! Which was awesome since I had no clue what to expect when I purchased a general admission ticket and had a 4.5 hour drive to the show.
I’m sure you’re curious on the concert I saw. Maybe your not and maybe you’ll laugh. I saw the Hanson 25th anniversary tour and had a total fan girl moment. I’m not even mad about it either. I’ve waited at least 22 years to see them and it was well worth the trip. The great news is tickets are very reasonably priced for this venue and you don’t have a bad seat, like I stated before. No it’s not just because it was Hanson either haha Chase Rice will be there on January 25th and tickets are under $70.
I was sitting front row in balcony but still felt so close! Another great thing is since the capacity is small there was never a line for the bar or bathrooms. I have faith it’s always like that because this concert was sold out and 90% women as you could imagine. This was hands down one of my favorite concerts. I’m quite the concert connoisseur too. I just loved this venue so much. I cannot wait to go back and catch another show there. If you’re going and want to make a weekend of it St. Louis truly has a lot to offer. If nightlife or sports is your thing check out Midwest Live and the Budweiser Brewhouse right by the cardinals stadium. If you’d rather keep it low key check out places near The Pageant. Don’t forget all the other touristy things like museums and going up in the arch!
(My bestie of 23 years before the concert)
I’ve visited St. Louis a few times now and it’s never been a disappointment. Make it a girls weekend, go with friends or make it a family adventure. Get out and explore and see one of your favorite artist. You’ll be glad you made the trip!
